Auckland Libraries now provide a free phone charging service for library users in 17 locations across Tāmaki Makaurau.
Auckland Central City, Kūmeu, Mt Roskill and Warkworth libraries, along with Tupu Youth Library, have charging lockers.

Volty Powerbanks are available at East Coast Bays, Glenfield, Glen Eden, Māngere East, Manukau, Onehunga, Panmure, Rānui, St. Heliers, Te Whare Mātauranga o Te Onewa — Northcote and Whangaparāoa libraries.
Botany Library has both phone charging stations and Volty Powerbanks.
