Volty is ChargedAs' nationwide portable power bank sharing network.

Users rent a power bank from a participating Volty venue, keep using their phone or other compatible device while it charges, and return the power bank to a compatible station.

Selected Volty stations also offer Tap N Go payment, allowing you to rent a power bank using a contactless card, Apple Pay or Google Pay without downloading the app.

Yes. ChargedAs partners with suitable venues around New Zealand to provide Volty power bank stations.

There is no equipment hire charge for participating venues under our standard revenue-share model. ChargedAs installs and maintains the station and shares revenue with the venue.

Custom wraps must be ordered and produced in advance, so we require at least two weeks' notice for branded stations.

Yes. Selected ChargedAs charging stations include digital screens that can play advertising or other video content on loop, as well as opportunities for exterior branding.

Grab N Go power banks are portable chargers that event attendees can take with them rather than leaving their phone at a fixed charging station.

ChargedAs can provide large power bank cabinets holding up to 72 power banks for festivals and other major events, as well as smaller eight-slot stations for conferences and smaller events.

They can be configured as free-to-use or pay-to-use.

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for large events and during the busy summer season.

Our most popular charging products can be booked months ahead. If you know your event date but are not yet sure how many charging stations or power banks you need, contact us early and we can help you plan.

If you would like a ChargedAs 6-box Advertiser or Tap N Go station custom branded for your event or sponsor, we require at least two weeks' notice so your station wrap can be produced in time.

Depending on the model, lockers are secured using either PIN-code access or keys. Our ChargedAs 8 Box Media and ChargedAs 8 Box OG use PIN codes, while ChargedAs Tap N Go stations and the ChargedAs 6-box Advertiser use keys.

The ChargedAs 6-box Advertiser features ChargeBox's patented SmartLock technology. Since ChargedAs was established in 2017, we've had no reports of a phone being stolen, lost or damaged while secured inside any of the charging lockers we operate.

Our key-operated charging stations have a secure process for retrieving devices if a key is lost.
