Hutt Valley DHB does a great job of providing and funding health services for people in Hutt Valley.
Hutt Hospital has served the community for more than 75 years.
From 1944 to 2019, the hospital has:
* Treated almost 2.5 million people (that’s around 20,000 a year or 620 a week).
* Performed some 361,000 operations (over 4,800 a year or 93 a week)
* Had almost 1.5 million admissions to its emergency department (just under 19,600 a year or 377 a week)
Hutt Valley DHB also has two secure phone charging stations provided by ChargedAs at Hutt Hospital, so patients and visitors can stay connected in times of need.
