Our secure phone charging stations are helping Kiwis stay connected in times of need. Other benefits include:
For Patients
Charging stations alleviate stress for patients and visitors, enhancing their overall experience. This ensures they can stay connected with loved ones during unplanned and lengthy visits.
For Visitors
Visitors can stay connected with friends and family whilst in waiting rooms. Charging stations also help keep children occupied while waiting for appointments.
For Health Workers
Productivity increases as staff no longer have to deal with charging requests.
New Zealand Partners
ChargedAs has partnered with the Well Foundation charity since June 2019, when we set up a phone charging station in the North Shore Hospital Assessment and Diagnostic Unit in Auckland.
In February 2020, we set up another two lockers in Waitakere Hospital Emergency Department in Auckland. We added another two stations at the reception and maternity ward of the hospital in June 2020.
The Well Foundation plans to include more charging solutions for the North Shore soon.
In Wellington, Hutt Valley District Health Board has been providing our secure stations at Hutt Hospital’s main entrance and emergency department since September 2019.
ChargedAs: Safe and secure
ChargedAs guarantees a safe charge and the security of all mobile devices left in our units.
Since establishing in 2017, no phone has ever been stolen, lost or damaged.
Our lockers charge all types of phones, including the newest models.
Phone charging solutions:
ChargedAs shares revenue of pay-to-use ChargeBox Classics with clients, which only cost end users the price of a cuppa: $2 for 20 mins, $3 for 40 mins or $4 for an hour.
Free-to-use ChargeBox Primes come with sponsorship opportunities, enabling clients to monetise from adverting wraps and video messages played on the 19″ LCD displays on loop for branding and other messaging. ChargedAs takes no profit if you want to sell this ad space — it’s yours to keep.
- Contact ChargedAs to get these charging solutions at your hospital or medical centre: Email info@chargedas.co.nz or call ChargedAs owner Bevan Haswell: 0275320813.
