ChargedAs has set up new Volty Powerbank stations at locations across Hawke’s Bay.
You’ll now find Volty Powerbanks at Napier’s Boardwalk Beach Bar and Bistro, The Station Bar and Bistro – Napier, The Duke of Gloucester – Taradale, Hastings’ Common Room, and Havelock North’s Giant Brewing Co. These additions join the existing locations across the region, including Napier’s Shed 2 on the Quay and Hastings’ Splash Planet.
We share revenue with clients while keeping costs low for users as part of our Support Local NZ programme and we set up and maintain stations for free as part of our “support local” ethos. There’s no cost for venues beyond power for the machines, which is minimal.
ChargedAs is keeping thousands of Kiwis connected across Aotearoa New Zealand with our Volty Powerbank sharing network and customisable phone charging stations for venues and events. You can download the Volty app here.
Volty App or Tap
We’ve partnered with dozens of venues across Aotearoa New Zealand to keep Kiwis connected, in the major cities of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and in other key cities and towns from Northland to Southland. And we’re rolling out Volty App or Tap dual-function power bank stations.
These stations offer customers the convenience of our Tap N Go function that enables users to use their phones’ Google Pay or Apple Pay to rent a power bank or the Volty app to get a discount rate for being a loyal member.
If you’re a Volty app member, it’s only from $3.50 an hour — way less than a price of a cuppa.
Once you’ve downloaded and set up the app from Google Play or Apple’s App Store, you’re good to go and all you need to do is point your phone to release the Volty.
